Join us for a retreat that can transform your life, in a cottage right on a white sandy beach on the Long Island Sound in Old Lyme, Connecticut, (about two hours from Westchester, NY.)

• Do you want to have access to all of your energies - physical, emotional and spiritual?

• Do you want to discover or fine-tune your life purpose?

• Do you seek to release that which is holding you back?

By tapping into the deep reserves of your Self, you can access the wisdom that is always available to you. Suzanne will guide your journey through mediation and drumming, and Cynthia will bring her integrative energy healing and trance work. These integrated techniques open the door for each of you to renew your connection with Self, earth, with all beings.

Overview

We meet and work in sacred space which we designate as Temple Space in a place of laughter, learning, connection and recreating bonds. These are bonds with ourselves, each other and Spirit in whatever way you define Spirit. At one time all peoples of the earth worshiped in sacred ceremonial circles, where healing knowledge was shared by Shamans, the leaders, teachers and healers. Worldwide peoples understood that the earth was sacred and they all worked together to keep the balance, to cooperate with each other. They understood that we are all “relatives,” all people, animals, plants, the stars the universe - we are all relatives deserving of respect and gratitude. Now is the time to remember our power and connection. We recreate these practices to provide a safe and caring place for reunification with the Sacred and reunion in the feminine circle, a place for sharing and supporting each other.

What to Expect:

Our weekend is densely packed with activity and ritual to awaken and expand your own inner knowledge. We will also take sacred meditative time to reconnect with Mother Earth and ourselves on a silent walk along the beach. Employing a variety of techniques, including guided meditation, integrative healing, trance-work, drum circle and our Saturday night ceremonial Shamanic Journeying ritual, you will be invited to travel between the worlds (Physical and Spiritual) to access the knowledge and power that is your birthright that can transform your mind, your life and our world.

Cynthia Chase, MSW, LCSW is a psychotherapist in private practice on the shoreline in Connecticut and in Westchester, New York. Her practice has spanned over thirty years. She is a leader in the field of positive psychology which focuses on a person’s strengths instead of weakness or pathology. Cynthia has been featured in local newspapers and is a published author.

As a Reiki Master she has developed a process called Reiki Fusion, drawing on the Eastern principles of energy healing and the principles of Shamanic journeying. It is through this innovative and synergistic process that the client discovers a wealth of wisdom and healing inside of themselves. It was there all the time, but this loving work unlocks the key. It is a deeply empowering work, and a work of joy.

Donna Coyote Rain is joining us in the exciting drumming and meditation ritual. Over 30 years ago her love of nature and the natural world led her home to Native American Spirituality.  She connected to the truths that nations of people believed as she did, that everything is alive and connected.  It became her passion to help us heal so we can then heal ourselves and the earth, together.  She has studied many methods of healing with indigenous elders such as Wallace Black Elk, Brant Secunda, Sun Bear, Wind Daughter, Bear Heart, Beautiful Painted arrow and Nicki Scully.  She has created and lead others in ceremony to craft their own ceremonial tools for personal healing such as frame drums, medicine pouches, talking sticks, rattles and more.

She integrates many healing modalities in her work as a licensed massage therapist in New York and Connecticut. She leads the Sacred Stone People’s Lodge as well as Full/New Moon and drumming circles where all come together and pray in gratitude, sending up voices and drum beats in celebration.  She invites us to drum and dance to help us return to the Sacred Hoop!

Testimonials from a previous workshop:

"I was ecstatic! It was the greatest experience I've ever had in my life. It was a magical weekend filled with love, compassion new friendships and a re-defining of myself. I learned tips to take home with me so I could keep on growing! It was a fantastic weekend and I thank Cynthia and Suzanne and everyone who attended, from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend them and the work they do.

While taking a silent walk with the group I could hear, see and feel things I never before experienced. The sound of the wind, the energy from the tree and my feet being planted on the ground. There was a tree that caught my attention. In the trunk, it had a circle in the middle and the edges looked as though it was peeling back. I connected with this as a redefining and shedding of my past. A new discovery of myself and who I want to be. That weekend was my circle on the trunk peeling away my pain coming into my new self.” A. C.

"I feel such a connection to you wonderful women, true and pure love. Thank you all for sharing yourselves with me. Blessed be….Namaste”
